"The breakfast was surprisingly good, especially the potatoes. My room was clean and they gave me a good room overlooking the river. The building is under construction which I wish they warned you about ahead of time bc contractors were there constantly and there were window coverings flapping outside of my room that made noise. The acoustics in the room aren’t great and the AC unit couldn’t keep up in the 90F weather even with shades down all day. Staff was very kind. Bed was just okay, pillows were good though. Also they have cold lemon water and choco chip cookies in the lobby which is a nice touch! Wish they had more food options at the front desk. Also the microwave didn’t work great."

"Beautiful place to stay with the family! Close enough to town to do local activities but also a quick 10 minute drive from the hustle and bustle! I'm going to miss waking up to my morning coffee by the river! Great hosts and communication! I would definitely recommend!"

Every description in the listing was completely accurate, and the glowing reviews were absolutely deserved.The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with all the amenities you could ask for. From the well-equipped kitchen to the thoughtful extras throughout the home, everything was provided to make our stay easy and enjoyable.The location was another huge plus—close to great fishing, hiking, restaurants, and everything Glenwood Springs has to offer. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located vacation rental!"
Luxury Modern Retreat: 40 Acres and Mountain Views

"This is by far the absolute best vacation home I have ever rented! Exceptionally clean, extremely well appointed, and no details are overlooked. The views are stunning from every room. The outdoor decks have comfortable furniture, and the hot tub and outdoor fire pit are spectacular. The gourmet kitchen has anything & everything your own home would have including high end appliances, plenty of dishware, cookware, bakeware, cooking spices, food wrap items e.g. foil, ziploc bags and plastic wrap. There is a grill provided and we did make a fabulous steak dinner and dined in one night. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had plenty of towels provided. The home is challenging to find and we had to ask a neighbor for directions because we didn't go far enough up the gravel/dirt road to find the address. To say the access road is very rough would be an understatement, and we didn't think it could possibly be the right road due to the poor condition with ruts but it was indeed the correct road. Be sure to read the details of the rental regarding the need for a 4-wheel drive vehicle. It's an absolute necessity. I would rent the home again in a heartbeat in summer/dry conditions but personally, I think rainy and especially snowy conditions would be a huge challenge for access up and down the mountain on the dirt road."
