Legendary ski slopes transform into wildflower-dotted hiking trails each summer, with gondola rides offering mountain views without the climb. Explore the pedestrian-friendly city centre where even the fanciest restaurants welcome you in hiking boots after a day on Maroon Bells' trails.
Quaint and affordable hotel in a very expensive ski town. My standard room was very basic but comfy and the free continental breakfast each morning was very good. Hotel has a pool which is heated so it really acts as a very large hot tub. Location is excellent as it is an easy 15minute walk into the centre of Aspen and the main gondola. My only issue was the walls are pretty thin and I did hear noise from adjoining rooms at times.
