"Super easy ski in/ski out lodge. Great valet service for nightly storage of skis and poles. Lots of restaurant, bar, and store options ON site. Just a few minutes from downtown Crested Butte with even more restaurant and shopping options! Will definitely come back!!"

"We enjoyed this cozy room with its own little patio that was pretty private. Unfortunately it was raining so we weren't able to enjoy that. The room was quite chilly and had a wall heater that didn't seem connected to the thermostat but worked, just slowly. The owners should be sure that heat is turned on before guests are assigned to a particular room. There was nice quilt to add to the bed which was comfortable. A quaint place that we would return to."

"Our stay here was fantastic. Michael, the owner, provided excellent communication and was always available with any questions. The location makes for an easy ski in and ski out option and building is new with great views of the mountain. We are a family of four and we were very comfortable. Very reasonably priced and steps from the Snowmass Village. Amenities like the pool, hot tub and fitness gym were nice add ons. Could not ask for anything more."

"We were looking for a home base to explore a bit in Aspen. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had read reviews that it was somewhat noisy so we brought a noise machine. We did not notice any noise."

"Dated furnishings and carpet, the latter appeared quite dirty. Shower floor dirty. Limited breakfast offerings. Good location but not a place you'd want to hangout in. The staff we're excellent in recommending activities(hikes) and using the local transportation(buses)."

"The Aspen Valley Lodge is an older property but well-kept. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple but offers a nice assortment of options with fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, coffee, etc. The first-floor dining and living areas are comfortable and nice, with a central fireplace. It is near the bus stop for Snowmass and other mountains and is within walking distance of Ajax, but I wouldn't recommend carrying your skis daily. Close to restaurants and downtown shopping.
