"There is no ice maker, except a little table top one in the lobby. TV is either Roku or Firestick which was confusing to older guests. A lamp in our room wasn’t working and we reported it, but it wasn’t repaired. Rooms were dated, but clean. Hot tub and sauna were out of order. The continental grab and go breakfast had a lot of options and was quite good."

"The staff has been incredible in their willingness to help my emergency situation… They have provided a room for as long as I need, given me assistance with my vehicle and contents, and the breakfast offering is well presented, and very fresh and nourishing… I came under an emergency but would gladly come back and stay whenever the opportunity represented itself"

"The Mokki Cottage is a gem, simple and very efficient. It is a short walk to everything that the town of Grand Marais has to offer. Street parking is plentiful, easy and feels very safe. Numerous books on wilderness adventures to read while relaxing around the cottage."
