"Rooms clean and common areas. Free coffee should run longer in morning. Not a huge fan of the self check in. Seemed impersonal, do want to feel like someone was there and attentive."

"It's a lot more "gritty" than I expected. This may just be NYC but my room was so small that one side of the bed was up against a window with an air conditioner in it and the side I got into the bed on was so close to the bathroom door that it needed a pocket door. When i'd get out of bed, I was standing in the bathroom. The nightstand (if you'd call it that) was a wooden milk crate given 10 coats of glossy black paint screwed to the wall. My shower water pressure was so low it was like a baby bird spitting on my head. After a couple days I did mention it to the manager and he was very nice and came and replaced the shower head. Shower, better. Not great, but better. It was okay, but it wasn't what I was expecting. If you're looking for a bare bones room to just crash your head at night, this would do the trick. I was on business for a week and it was just too cramped for me. Very nice staff, and very helpful."
