"Beds were super cofy. Room was nice and clean. There's a liquor store across the street that sells all kinds of food, treats. Drinks, cases of water. Walked to downtown and the embarcadero. Everything's was super close."

"We stayed at the Shore Cliff for three nights this week and brought our dog. We had a hot breakfast buffet every morning with something different being served every day. The breakfasts were all really good. Our dog had a water bowl and a blanket to welcome her. The staff was wonderful, so helpful and friendly. Our room was on the first floor to make it easy to take the dog in and out with a wonderful ocean view as all the rooms at the Shore Cliff. Apparently, the hotel been undergoing renovations, and except for one wing it looks like they are near completion. However, our trip was not impacted by anything going on at all, except enjoying the updated rooms and amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel when you’re visiting Pismo Beach, especially with pets and children. Its dramatic location can’t be beat with easy access to the beautiful beach below. Definitely going back!"

"Dawn at the front desk was a dream! I’ve never met a nicer and more accommodating person before. She knew we were a bit nervous of our room not being ready or not being in the right place, and she ensured it was ready for us and the right room and she greeted us with open arms. "You get what you pay for. This is an affordable motel. At least we were in the bldg away from office, overlooking the pool. When we checked in there were men smoking and drinking outside on the landing. The room was updated as shown in photos. The sheets smelled of bleach, which was a positive. There were 2 things - hair in "clean" shower and appliance (a/c? Water heater?) that made an insanely loud noise when it turned on/off. "
