"Everything is perfect"

"The hotel generally looked well maintained, but the TV in our room didn't work, and neither did the plug that my wife thought was charging her iPad. When I reported this to the receptionist at checkout I got a cheerful, "Thanks! I'll report this to maintenance. You're all checked out!" I didn't press the issue."

"Not like the photos at all. Bought out by a gas station. It’s giving motel 6 not cute inn in Monterey. Staff was rude when I decided to go elsewhere. Mold in rooms, loud stomping all night, very unclean and does not feel safe at all. I moved furniture in front of my door because how unsafe it felt. DO NOT GO HERE!"

"I feel that this resort had lost its charm. I had high expectations that were very quickly diminished. I expected the pools to be nicer and more kid friendly. It felt like a budget hotel which didn't match the price."

"Our room was HUGE. A double queen suite. The bathroom too. Omg. The bed was perfect, and pillows were fluffy soft. So comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good. Everything you could ask for with helpful attendant. Not a cheap hotel. But worth every penny. 5 stars. I'll be back"

"I was really looking forward to celebrating my husband’s and my birthday weekend at this resort, but unfortunately, we left feeling underwhelmed. The property appears to be in need of updates and better maintenance. During our stay, the only outdoor adult hot tub was out of order, the cornhole set was worn and falling apart, and the steam rooms were unavailable during our scheduled spa treatments. We were also disappointed to learn that the food truck and poolside drink service were weather-dependent, which wasn’t clearly communicated ahead of time. Additionally, the in-room products did not meet the level of quality we expected for a resort of this caliber. That said, we did really enjoy the restaurant, and the staff throughout the resort were friendly and welcoming."
