"Our stay was fabulous! The Armory Park Inn is outstanding in *every* respect. From the gorgeous interior to the gracious staff, my wife and I knew we had found a winner. Amy and Dora anticipated every need we could have, with snacks, plentiful towels, fast wi-fi, robes, even blackout curtains. In the late afternoon, they hosted an Armory Gathering for guests that included wine, cheese, fruit, and lovely conversation. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We unreservedly recommend the The Armory...

"Clean, modern hotel with a central, easy location. Easily accessible parking garage. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet for being in a city on a Friday night with events happening in all directions. "

"The room was spotless and beautiful, not at all what I expected for the price I paid. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a short term stay in town. "
"Hotel McCoy is clearly a classic motor inn from a bygone era that has been thoughtfully—and playfully—reimagined. The result is a fun retro vibe layered with modern touches that feel intentional rather than forced.
We arrived in the early hours of the morning. Although the front desk was closed, the experience was seamless because we had completed registration earlier through the online portal, which provided our door code. Late-night arrival was completely stress-free.
The building itself is solid brick, which does a surprisingly good job of keeping exterior noise down and adds to the sense of durability you don’t always find in older motor inns. You can hear the nearby interstate, but it isn’t intrusive and didn’t interfere with sleep.
One of the most charming aspects of the property is the abundance of murals painted throughout the grounds. They add personality, color, and a strong sense of place, turning what could have been a simple roadside stop into something memorable and distinctly Tucson.
The flooring in the room is real tile—retro-inspired but still current—and a welcome upgrade over linoleum or faux finishes. It fits the aesthetic nicely while feeling solid and clean.
We stayed in a king suite. The room is not overly large, but it’s thoughtfully laid out. There’s no traditional closet; instead, there are wall pegs for hanging clothes, which aligns with the minimalist, retro feel. The bathroom is small but efficient, and the addition of a compact, charming kitchene"
"Perfect location right on the edge of campus. Ample parking and an easy walk to a few stores and restaurants. Room was clean and had all the amenities I needed for a quick work trip."
"This was, by far, the best location/host we’ve experienced in Tucson. The home was very unique, well cared for, and extremely comfortable. Brandon, our host was very accommodating and accessible. We come to Tucson from time to time to visit our kids and will definitely make this our go-to VRBO from now on. Thanks again Brandon!"
