Good value, good location.
We just stayed one night on our way down to the Dordogne. The Sure Hotel is in a good location, a two minute walk of the town and with plenty of parking behind the hotel. A good breakfast in the morning with a generous buffet. The rooms are basic with no tea or coffee but there is a kettle and complimentary water. We would stay again as the hotel is very good value for money.

We had breakfast 4 days. On the first day eggs,ham,croissants,choice of juices, good range of breads. Second and subsequent days no eggs.Third day no croissants, 4th day virtually no ham and the bread needed soaking in coffee to eat

I could not check in. When I arrived they left a phone number for late check in, and the phone was ringing inside with no one present. I want a refund for this place.

The hotel was convenient and adequate for a 1 night stay. The room was rather small with very little space for cothes etc and no wardrobe. The wash basin is in the room, the shower opens into the room and the space is so limited that some water inevitably gets into the room. The wc compartment is quite small too. This room was ok for 1 night but dont book for a week! Breakfast was good.

Nice inn keeper, clean and basic room.
It was a clean and basic hotel with a very nice man assisting our late arrival. We found that late arrivals were very difficult since a lot of hotel office close after 6pm. This surprised us, so we had to make sure we were at our hotels early in the evening after this stay.

A bit dated, it was almost like stepping back 30 years BUT the food in the restaurant was excellent....the best meal we ate in France in two weeks. Service was very good too. Very reasonably priced.

Location good, hotel not.
We stayed here for one night on route to Vendee. The welcoming, helpful staff showed us to the room. The room was small, beds clean but carpet badly marked. There was a small balcony overlooking neighbouring properties, but the door to that was a problem. Initially we had great difficulty closing it before we went out of the hotel, and when we returned were unable to open it to access the balcony, a major safety hazard in the event of fire etc. The toilet seat was cracked in two places, and the shower was a somewhat inconvenient hand held apparatus in a small bath. The décor in the whole place was 'tired' to say the least, and in need of refreshing I got the impression that we were the only clients that evening, and ours was the only car in the car park to the rear of the hotel. The hotel restaurant was set out nicely, but no one at all used it on the night we were there, and we did not have breakfast there, so it was unused also that morning. The hotel was located close to the railway station, and a short walk from the centre of this pleasant town, where there were numerous bars and restaurants. The Italian restaurant next door to the hotel by contrast was extremely busy, minutes after it opened. We had a decent meal for a reasonably price there. All in all, there s potential to make something of the hotel, but a facelift/ refurbishment is needed.

Friendly hotel
Very friendly staff, and great value for money. Evening set menu was excellent, and breakfast was very adequate. Rooms are a bit tired but comfortable. Off road free car parking available.

We didn't stay we were booked but because we arrived at 20.30 the place was shut no contact no was left !! We were lucky the place across the road had room otherwise it could have been a disaster

Il faudrait revoir le chauffage de la salle de bain, les prises électriques, les interrupteurs qui ne fonctionnent pas Nettoyer le wc et quand la chambre est louer augmenter le seul chauffage car pour passer de 17 à 19 il faut 5h

Cher Christophe, Merci d'avoir pris le temps de nous écrire un commentaire sur votre séjour.Nous sommes navrés qu'il n'ait pas été à la hauteur de vos espérances.Pour ce qui est de l'électricité lorsque vous entrez dans la chambre, vous trouvez un boitier blanc dans lequel il faut mettre la carte pour que les lumières ainsi que les prises fonctionnent.Les Sanitaires sont nettoyées chaque jour, malheureusement dans cette chambre il y a du calcaire qui abime les WC, veuillez nous en excusez.J’espère que vous envisagerez à nouveau de séjourner parmi nous, pour que nous ayons une seconde chance de vous proposer une expérience de qualité supérieure.
