"The building was magnificent, every room was so grand. We were on the top floor so that was extremely tiring but very wide stairs so that helped. Breakfast was superb. My only criticism was the soap dispensers weren't great. Luckily, we had our own soap so there was no need for us to go up and down those stairs! I must say though, my daughter (obviously, far younger) was fine with the top floor."

"Staying here was an delightful experience. You are in a grand house that was built in 1740 and has been beautifully and lovingly restored. Michael is the proprietor and is very friendly and easy to talk to. The gardens are lovely and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance of this charming small town.
