"Open Arms is a lovely wee hotel with friendly efficient staff. If you want a relaxing quiet break this is the place. Excellent bus service to both North Berwick and Edinburgh but if you're staying in the village the Castle Inn is worth paying a visit."

"This is not a hotel, dont be fooled, it’s a tiny place with very small bedrooms,and beds i could not possibly recommend this to anyone that was looking for a nice place to stay Bedroom was clean as was bed, but so dated, cardboard doors, no fire doors, we were not comfortable and would never go there again SORRY"

"Check in was very easy and straightforward. Communication with the host was excellent. The cottage was clean and welcoming. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. A few small discrepancies with the advertised amenities ( lack of coffee machine and shortage of kitchen crockery ) were addressed in a kind and caring manner. Located just a couple of miles from North Berwick and surrounded by pretty farmland. "
