Five Minutes from Crater Lake National Park

"We stayed here while visiting Crater Lake National Park. The home was conveniently located about 30 minutes from the park entrance. This is a pretty no frills home but did the job. We had space to spread out for the three of us. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner does mention it in the listing but the water supply is from a well and does have a taste we aren't used to. There is a water dispenser and note about the water. It would have been nice to have some ice so I might suggest picking a bag up on your way in. We used the oven and microwave to reheat leftovers and everything worked smoothly. There was ketchup and mustard in the fridge and some spices, cooking oils and coffee in the cabinets. Also canisters with flour and sugar. The water pressure is low because of the well but it worked. There was soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom which was nice to have. The beds were comfortable. From the backyard, you are pretty much surrounded by cattle ranches. We woke up to cows across the driveway from us (fenced in, of course). We didn't have great weather for sunsets but I imagine, they would be very pretty sitting in the backyard. You can also see a lot of stars as there is little artificial light around the property. We used the pool table all of the nights we were there and had fun playing with the piano. There are also some games, books and DVDs to use. Be aware the driveway is tight and comes up quickly. Take your time getting in."

"Simply Wonderful! The pictures are amazingly accurate however the cabin was even BETTER in person! So many interesting, tasteful and detailed decorations in every room of this inviting cabin. Hosts have provided exceptional thought and love in providing a truly lovely cabin retreat, both indoors and outside in the garden area. Kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom towels are luxurious. Great to have a laundry if needed too. And the surprise outdoor clawfoot tubs were a hoot! Location is very convenient to Crater Lake (less than 45 minutes) in a peaceful setting. (Tourist tip: Be sure to also check out the Natural Bridge Park on the way to Crater Lake.) Quite possibly this is one of the best cabin homes you will have the privilege of staying in."

"We loved that the property was so close to Crater Lake and had enough space for our larger party. There was a very helpful binder with the house and area info. We did a very nice short hike to view waterfalls only 15 min from the property. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Idyllic mountain and ranch views. Very close to Crater Lake and the northern end of Klamath. The house is just perfect. The kitchen and bathroom are perfectly stocked. The deck is the perfect place to eat and watch the birds."
