Beautiful hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Great breakfast and friendly staff. No one around after 7pm so make sure you check in before then.

One of the best hotel experiences..I travel 6-8 times a year. Best thing about the room was the shower..it was as large as your dining room and the best shower head...Best hotel shower in the world

It was a wonderful Inn. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The setting and view are gorgeous. The inn had a lot of charm. The owner/host was very friendly and informative!

There is no elevator, There were a lot of stairs end it was very difficult. The room was clean And the view was spectacular The staff had very services

A great stay
The room was big, clean with a comfy bed and a seperate toilet room (not combine with the shower). Breakfast was diverse and service was excelent. Highly recommended

Delightful Boutique Hotel
We had a well-appointed, very recently re-furbished, large room on the ground floor with a wonderful view across lush wheat fields to the mountains in the pre-Alps. Staff were friendly, helpful and the price included a very substantial and varied breakfast spread. Although the hotel does not provide meals other than breakfast, Anif village, where the hotel is located is very compact and there several very good restaurants and cafes within in easy walking distance. Anif is an easy 20 minute (6km) drive south of Salzburg.

Poor service hotel
We recently stayed at the hotel for 4 nights during a heat wave. Room had poor ventilation and only little relief if you left your door open. No balcony although it was advertised, no ice available or any kind of refreshment outside of the poor breakfast buffet and the bar fridge in the room. Ask for some means of comfort relief such as change of room or at least a fan and nothing was offered or provided. We were forced to purchase our own fan which provided some relief but still very very hot in the rooms. Bed had a winter quilt on it and was unusable in the heat. No one was available to help you with your luggage and no elevator. Everything you might need such as restaurants or shops is a bit of a walk from the hotel. When we were there they were very short staffed. One person looking after the desk, answering phones and serving breakfast to the quests. We found hotel unhelpful and showed no concern for the comfort of their quests.

Great location and very quaint. Great views from rooms and staff very polite. No fans or A/C so rooms a bit stuffy at night

Wonderful town...
I am sure this hotel would have been lovely but we were unable to stay here because of the website we booked it through. When we arrived they had no reservation for us. We had all the confirmation info from hotels.com but they had no record of this. Luckily they were able to find us a room at their other location. Schlosswirt zu Anif was were we ended up and it was great! We were on our honeymoon so they were able to give us their honeymoon suite at the same price we booked.

Attractive Hotel Quietly Located in Anif
Attractive traditional Austrian styled hotel. Has a sauna/leisure room in the basement. Friendly staff who spoke good English. Has off street parking. Good sized rooms in excellent condition with good showers.

A little ouside the city but it ended up great as a central point to go to the Eagles Nest and many other sites in southeastern Germany as well as Astria. No nightlife near facility.

Great stay near Salzburg
Really enjoyed our stay here- very clean and comfortable rooms with great views of the alps from your balcony. The hotel feels secluded and is backed by green fields. We had a car and it's easy to get into Salzburg or Berchtesgaden and the Eagles nest. Salzburg is about 10 minutes into the center and Berchtesgaden is about 20 minutes away. We would stay here again, especially if visiting before it gets too hot. Our only real complaint is that our room had no AC, which we definitely would've used if available.

A peaceful accomodation, close to Salzburg
Loved the room, the breakfast and the view. Parking is easier than in Salzburg and it is close to Berchtesgaden should you venture there . Pack lightly- there is no elevator and ask very direct questions if you need help with anything==due to some language barriers with some staff members, information close to the vest. It is relaxing. pretty and close to all points of interests without the madcap traffic of Salzburg at rush hour.

worst hotel in the world alias HOSTEL
we arrived after an 8 hour drive to find the door of the hotel locked we tried every entery even the windows were locked no one was in the hotel .we were hold by a local lady to press a button on the wall ,after 20 minutes waiting for someone to answer it ,they told us to enter a four digit code and open box 1 i felt like i was on a game show and not a guest trying to check in to my hotel! which the hotel had taken payment in advance two weeks prior .we got our key and went to our room was very hot inside i tried to open windows but they were all locked .went back down stairs and called on a phone located near the front door eventially they answered i asked them could they come and see us in reception they said we are no where near the hotel ,i asked who could help us with our cases they said there is no help no lift and no facilities were available during the day or night just opened for breakfast i said to the lady is it a hotel or a "HOSTEL" we decided we had enough put the key back and left .overal impresion if hotel had been maned 24/7 it would be ok would not recomed it , located in a village nothing to see £30 taxi each way to salzburg

Hôtel au charme autrichien
Très bon hôtel situé à l'écart de la route donc au calme. Bon accueil à la réception. Chambre spacieuse avec vue sur la montagne, très propre. Petit déjeuner complet, qualité des produits. La proximité de Salzburg en fait une étape très agréable. A recommander.

Wir kommen gerne wieder
Sehr freundlicher Empfang, wir mußten leider sehr früh abfahren und so hat man uns ein Luchpaket als Frühstücksersatz auf das Zimmer gestellt. Das fand ich ungemein aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, gute Duache und alle Annehmlichkeiten die man braucht.

Ruhige lage
Das Hotel ist leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und an einigen Ecken würde etwas Farbe und eine hellere Beleuchtung dem Hotel gut stehen Es handelt sich um ein reines Garni Hotel Restaurants sind fussläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar
