Sercotel Hotels in Andean Natural Region

"Hotel is not bad but it is located next to a very low level bar with noise till late night. Upon arrival I was given a room on the 7th floor with a wall literally 3 feet from my window covering the entire window. Asked then to change me to a room with a window or balcony, they claimed the booking I had was the lowest level, and regardless of my status they could not upgrade me, so they gave me a room on the 1st floor behind the reception with the window right next to that bar. Bfast not great but considering included it was OK. Positive point the rooftop restaurant is very nice and good food, if you arrive early. Arrived around 8:30PM and the very rude hostess said the kitchen was closed but they made an exception if i sit at the bar. Had the worst pasta in my life, with raw chicken the bartender recommended, which I left untouched and told him about.....which he still added to the check. After arguing with him for 5 min, as HE recommended protein, they finally removed the expensive chicken from the check. Overall the hotel is 4 start, the staff drops it to a 3 unfortunately. "

"This is an interesting hotel in a very walkable area. No parking is offered. Need to buy parking from others. My buffet breakfast was inclduded and very nice. Also they would pack it to go. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. No tv unless you have netflix login yourself. Nice soaking tub in room. Shower does not have handheld just rain shower. All staff seemed very nice and helped me not speak Spanish. "

"Hotel is still under construction. Was woken up every morning with hammers hitting the ceiling above me very loud, as the rooftop was being built and I was on the top floor. This is a brand new hotel, and the ceiling leaked during the rain in two spots, getting my luggage and clothes all wet. Was very lucky I moved my Laptop otherwise it would have been ruined. The rooms are very small even the “grande suite” It wasn’t as loud as people say on here, but then again I was on the top floor. You can hear the music but it wasn’t that bad and people exaggerated that the music plays until 4. The clubs shut at 2 and by 2:30 it’s quiet. My favorite parts of the trip was the cafe staff. They were incredibly kind and greeted me and welcomed me every time I went downstairs or arrived back at the hotel. The male with the beanie and gauges was very helpful especially since I don’t speak Spanish well. Location is amazing though. Near everything. I felt very safe in the area and they have security outside for their guests. Being that it is a new property and the ceilings are already leaking, I don’t think I would stay again and would probably recommend you stay elsewhere. "

"Deberian de tener plancha. Todo muy limpio y ordenado. Muy bonito y ascesible. Ubicacion excelente para pasarla bien. Que mal que de la habitacion se ne desapareciera un cargador de mi apple watch, Y a mi hermana un perfume. Muy lamentable.😢 "
