"We love Starfish on Straddie. We stay every year and always enjoy our stay. Carolyn is a great host. There is a pod coffee machine that takes Nespresso style pods. Every year we notice work being done on the cottage which is great - from lounge suites, to the little front deck, work is always being done to improve and update. When there is a problem (not that they are big problems - like running out of washing powder) the response is quick. Highly recommend staying here. Our doggie also gives 5 stars."

For the amount of money you pay you would expect the place to be in a better condition, however, we find this with a lot of the houses on Stradbroke Island, the attention to detail is not there, big cobwebs everywhere, broken slates, missing remote controllers to air con units, sand everywhere."
