"Very outdated “5 star” hotel. Everything appears clean, but it feels dirty due yo how everything has aged. Facilities are in dire need of a renovation. Our first room had some electrical issues, in which loud buzzing was heard when certain lights were on. It also had old wooden floors that creaked, as did the room over us causing so much noise that we required a room change to the top floor. The next room had the same electrical sounds and issues. The room was carpets, so there was no creaking...

"This is a lovely, quirky hotel which is bursting with character. Our room was impressive and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the rooftop restaurant on two evenings and on each the food was fresh and delicious. The live music added to the enjoyment of the evening. "
