"it was an interesting old building, thefood was excellent. Brendan was very heplful and friendly, as were some of the locals."

"We were kept well informed on the details around our trip and the booking in and parking wrre very straightforward. Location is great, 3 min walk into town. Bed is very uncomfortable for our liking, far too soft, no support. Advertised as having NETFLIX etc, but yiu cant access this. Would us again, but only for a 1 night stop over."

"The room included parking and breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good location for Ambleside and getting the boats to other parts of the lake. Lovely clean room, good bed and bedding. Breakfast was hot and cold buffet and very good as were the evening meals."

"The he Victorian House was a delight to stay in, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were lovely. The property is on the edge of grasmere and is very conveniently located near shops, the bus stop and cafes etc. "

"Stay was good and location was fab, but when we returned home received 4 separate parking tickets for parking in the hotel over our 2 night stay, when we were assured by a member of staff when he checked us in that he also updated the car parking system with our car details. We are now in the middle of trying to sort this out with the car parking company. This could be very off putting to book this accommodation again"
