"This hotel has seen better days. There were two lamps in the small, dark, almost windowless room. One lacked the tiny knob for turning it on and off, so no light there. The other had a working bulb screwed into the socket, but that whole unit hung loosely almost unattached to the lamp. It will soon burn a spot or a hole on the shade. We were surprised to find out that the hotel charges $45 a night for a “valet” to park your car in the small attached parking area. They blamed it on Hotels.com for...

"The hotel is very well positioned if you’d like to spend your time exploring the French quarter. The bar seems to be closed indefinitely but the area is still nice to relax in. The HVAC system is a bit confusing, but economy turns the system off. The people at the front gives good recommendations and the lobby has coupons for local attractions, take advantage of them. They give free water and coffee in the lobby which was very convenient when over indulging at any of the various bars within...
