"Location of rental on the river was nice with good proximity to Boone, however road and bridge were busy with cars and fishermen. Not a great spot for dogs in the yard without a chain or leash. The home wreaked of cigarette smoke so much so that we had to keep windows open. The gas fireplace was not working, it released lots of gas smell into the home and not all burners would light. Fireplace also had no cover. The rental company did send someone out when we complained of the gas smell however they were unannounced and wanted to have maintenance come during our stay. The rental company has a stingy approach with towels and paper products that would have been a pain with more than 2 guests. Overall we wouldn’t stay here again and would think twice before booking with this rental company."

"Everything was just as advertised. There were a few hiccups with the internet but when I sent John a message he actually FaceTimed me to help with troubleshoot the issue. I can honestly say I have never had such a helpful host before. Awesome experience!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for a better home base for our group of 12 in the Boone mountains! The house was perfect for our large group — plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax without feeling crowded.The kids were especially thrilled with all of the game options available. It kept them entertained for hours! The location was ideal — we were able to get to activities in and around Boone with ease, which made planning our days stress-free and fun.The host was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, from booking through checkout. Any questions we had were answered quickly and kindly. And perhaps most importantly, the house was exactly as described and pictured — no surprises, just a great experience from start to finish.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a mountain getaway in the Boone area!"

"The cabin was great. Beautiful views. Enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds clean and comfy. Lots of board games available for kids to play. Definitely need 4WD to get up the driveway. We did have an issue with the hot tub not being clean on arrival, but hosts were prompt in response to messages and sent someone out to service the hot tub so we could use it that evening."

"Close to everything Boone has to offer but feels like you’re in your own private oasis! It was an absolutely gorgeous property with tons of amenities, very well maintained, and overall we were so overjoyed with our experience. The only thing it was missing was a hot tub! We will be back. "
