One of the highlights was the bar in the evening, where there was live music that added a nice, lively touch without being overwhelming. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous selection and great quality. The breakfast and bar staff stood out in particular — warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. They took the time to chat and made the experience feel personal and inviting. The ground-floor restaurant was also enjoyable and convenient for dinner. "We stayed at Hotel Steinbeck for 2 nights to catch the Bernina Express and really enjoyed our stay here. The check-in staff was very friendly and offered to carry the luggage to our room. It was a classic hotel with an excellent restaurant and we were served with nutritious breakfast of a good variety and the lady who run the restaurant for breakfast was very friendly and efficient. Pontresina is a nice little town with majestic views of the mountains surrounding it and it is very quiet comparing to the big cities. "
