"It was on a quiet back street within 3-4 minutes walk to the main street. The staff were efficient and friendly. There were great dining options nearby and it was a short walk to St Kilda beach and the sea baths."

"There is much to like about the Crest Apartments on Barkly. If you are looking for value for money and happy for older apartments that have various levels of upgrade, these are for you. We were initially concerned given the wide range of reviews, but just remember you are not checking into 2025 new, you are checking into clean, comfortable and well presented. Staff were friendly and our apartment was regularly cleaned over the 4 nights of our booking. Beds were comfortable. Our 3 bedroom apartment had a toilet separate to the bathroom and a washer/dryer in the bathroom. It even had a modern spa bath. However my other apartment, while similar, did not have that feature. A good value for money option, with a close tram into the city or down to St Kilda proper. Lots of eating options and a Woolworths (small version) about 10 minute walk away."
"Great hotel with a great staff ftom the top down. Great location in a happening part of town, a very short walk to the beachlfe. Bright, well lit roomy rooms. Restaurant and bar serving delicious meals and snacks.
Super comfortable beds. A good value. "
