"Point A is a nice boutique hotel that is convenient to the bus and train stations, Buchanan Street and some great restaurants. Point A does have a continental breakfast at an extra fee. If you like coffee first thing in the morning, it may be purchased at the front desk. The unit had USB chargers so we did not have to use our volrage converter for our cell phones and tablets. "Although the outside of the hotel was very unappealing and quite difficult to find it did exactly what it said on the tin. It was a budget hotel just to put my head down without spending a fortune. The only problem was any time the neighbouring room flushed there loo it sounded like a bulldozer was coming through the wall which made it very difficult to sleep through. The room is small but basic and the bed was very comfortable. "

"Great hotel that we have used for multiple trips to Glasgow, great to have lots of options on site: food, drink, pool and gym (all are great). Great location if staying for concerts held across the river and only a short walk to the pedestrian bridge to get there. Have always felt safe staying in the area and very walkable to the multiple shopping areas though it is a good 20 minute walk into the main centre (though plenty of transport options also).
