Very nice and renovated room. Noise from motorway could not be heard within the room due to very isolated windows and doors. Very nice hosts and walking possibilities with our dog.

A great find! Literally just off the M8, but quiet. Excellent for dogs - loads of room accessible for walking and running, very reasonably priced, comfortable. Very pleasant host, made us feel very welcome. I stayed on business, and would recommend Blairmains Guest House to anyone looking for a base convenient for exploring the central belt, Glasgow and Edinburgh. If you like Ponies there are one or two of these around too!

A Great Find

We stayed here for 1 night after attending the Edinburgh Tattoo. The guest house and its location were perfect for us. The owners were very accommodating at let us collect our keys and check in early on our way through to Edinburgh. The rooms were beautifully clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great, an overall very positive stay and would recommend.

A nice place to stay between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Was given advice on best way to get into both via the trains and some good suggestions of things to do as it was my first time in Scotland. Breakfast was nice and filling so good way to start the day. Rooms were really clean and just off the motorway it was easy to find but you couldn't here the traffic when you were in the room. Would stay here again and also recommend it to friends and family who were planning on going to this area.
