"A great place to land after a trans-Atlantic flight. The staff was warm and welcoming right away - including with beverages. The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. The location was perfect - right around the corner from the Rijksmuseum and across from Vondelpark. We found it very walkable and there was easy access to the tram to get further afield. Crucially, as we arrived in a heat wave, the rooms have air conditioning. This was a godsend at 22 degrees above average."

"This was the perfect spot to stay in Amsterdam. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. The hotel was newly renovated very clean, rooms are air conditioned beds comfortable. Rooms were small but I was expecting this. You can not beat the location. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"I loved my stay at Volkshotel! It’s well-connected and just steps from the metro, making it super convenient to get around. The interior is hip and stylish, with lots of personality. The highlight for me was definitely the sauna and jacuzzi — such a great way to unwind. I had hoped to work from the coworking area, but it was often full and a bit tricky to find a seat. Still, overall a fantastic experience and I’d gladly return!"
