4 season-3-bedroom cozy rustic cottage on beautiful Oxtongue Lake, next to Oxtongue river ragged falls and Algonquin Park, near Dorset and Huntsville.
It sits on 1.5 acres land, great privacy. It has a quiet private shallow entry sandy beach, deep at the end of a large dock, great fishing and swimming.
West view, magnificent sunset, surrounded by mature trees and nature forest.
It has a full kitchen, includes stove, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, fridge and dishwasher.
There is a Jacuzzi tub and shower in the washroom.
3 canoe, 2 kayak, 1 stand up paddle board and a paddle boat. Wii, Xbox and board games. BBQ,TVs and DVDs.
Deep well water, safe to drink.
Complimentary Ontario Park Pass use and WiFi.

This property was the perfect place to stay for a multi-generational vacation, enjoying hiking in Algonquin Park by day, and the cozy cabin by night. It is a well-laid out quaint cottage, with lots of retro things my teenage daughters found really fun. The views from the cottage is a spectacular lake view and woods.

Great location and nice property to spend a week with my family. Communication with the host was excellent. If the weather would cooperate we would have excellent time but maybe next year the weather will be more kind to us..... Thank you Lixin!

Unfortunately a bit run down. Stairs to lake need repair and some property maintenence. Otherwise beautiful location. Lots of watercraft to choose from. Paddleboat doest work but canoes and kayaking was great. Fishing was great from the dock.

Tranquil beauty
The property is lush with foliage and the bay is quiet except for sounds of frogs at night. Daytime on the dock is peaceful with a beautiful view of the lake. The experience is enhanced with swimming, kayaking, canoeing or paddleboarding. The cottage is quaint with all of the amenities needed to cook all meals comfortably. We would definitely consider returning.

While there, we had freezing rain. We didn’t have any water, power or heat for more than 24 hours, so we left. If this property is rented during winter, there should be a generator for back up.

Great rustic cottage
This cottage is exactly as the pictures show it and is in a beautiful location right on the lake. We found it perfectly located for day tripping into Algonquin and wish we'd had a longer stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful and everything was as smooth as can be.

The property was exactly as described: rustic, clean and in a great location. The host was easy to get a hold of and very friendly. The location is perfect for those who want to explore Algonquin and close enough to Huntsville to shop, hit a pub etc.
