Hotel is fairly close to the airport, clean and safe.
Room furniture are not new and needs some maintenance work. No room complimentary coffee/tea tray. Complimentary breakfast is like an upgraded Continental Breakfast, but service was excellent.
The hotel staff were great, very friendly and attentive. The area was safe and parking was convenient. There could be improvements with the elevator and breakfast. There is one elevator for all guests which could take a while to get to your floor. The breakfast selection is small, could benefit from more to choose from. The highlight of the stay was a trip to the apothecary rooftop bar. Great drinks and food.
I only spent one night but liked the modernized clean interior of this former Santa Fe Railroad hospital building. Friendly staff and a nice rooftop bar. Only hiccup was a choice to use Zip(?) Taxi service to reach the airport and unfortunately cab never showed up at my hotel. Staff very helpful and I ended up grabbing an Uber, so I made my flight.
Our room was upstairs, close to the hot tub, parking, and main lobby. Breakfast was good, and coffee was available early. Staff was frienly and helpful.
I’m so happy to find this property and not expensive for a Saturday night for how nice it is! The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful! My room was very clean and cozy! The bed is very comfy! It’s quiet! It’s refreshing and relaxing! The restaurant was very convenient and nice after a long day of driving! The staff was really nice and assertive. The bartender made a great dirty martini and was very nice as well! I’d definitely stay here again! :)
The hotel and bar were lovely! The gardens and outside 24hr spa were very nice. Downtown seems like it has really gone down hill but this facility was very enjoyable.
This was my second time at Parc Central. I love the grounds with the beautiful trees , fountain and landscaping. It is peaceful and safe and right outside the door! Inside is spotless and lovely with many options for a comfortable chat with family or friends. The hot tub is private and the perfect temperature. The rooms are beautifully done and very comfortable. This is my go to place when in town.
Price is high for the quality of the room & furnishings. There’s a bar/lounge on the top floor that was very busy on a Friday night which meant sharing an elevator/space with a rowdy crowd of people who aren’t hotel guests.
The hotel advertises its Apothecary restaurant to be open until 10pm Sun - Thurs. However, when I got to the Apothecary restaurant for dinner at 9pm after a long day of work and traveling, I was told by the very rude manager there that they just closed and they would not be able to serve me dinner. When I pressed him about why they closed early he said that they are closing early because it is raining outside. Therefore I had to go to bed without dinner that night
Hotel Parq is an extremely nice place to stay. It is very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and efficient. It is secure and safe. Amenities such as a washer and dryer are welcome when traveling. The roof top bar is wonderful. The location is close to the interstate and easy to access when traveling. The perfect place to stay!
Loved the decor and the hallway displays. Great aesthetic. Very unique and unusual property. Lots of extras including nice toiletries, great shower and lovely bathrobes to lounge in. I disagree that the rooms facing the freeway are noisy (other reviewers mentioned that). I was facing freeway and with windows closed I heard almost nothing. Great stay and highly highly recommend.
We loved every bit of this hotel. Love the history of the hotel when it was a hospital in 1928. The uniqueness of the long corridors, like wings of a hospital, tidbits of history on the wall boxes. The bathroom has apothecary bottles for shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. This is such an awesome property, we can’t say enough! We will visit again for sure!
Dining options could be better. Also, the Apothecary should stay open later. My flight was delayed, and I got in to the hotel at 10pm. The Apothecary just closed and I had to go without dinner
Great property and convenient Downtown location. The room was small but well appointed! Great staff, great breakfast and a nice lounge with finger food in the evening.
Lovely hotel located close to town. Short drive to downtown and uptown but we didn’t walk. Great boutique hotel and they were very accommodating to a change of room
My wife and I have stayed here many times traveling between Denver and Tucson. I am an MD and she is an interior designer and we love the idea and execution of a hotel from an old hospital.
