"We booked this floating cabin for a night to attend a wedding! We were able to check in early to enjoy a little extra time on the back porch and enjoy the views since we would basically only be sleeping there if we didn’t arrive early. Owner was very easy to communicate with and very polite! They recently painted the inside and changed out the bedding. The bed was super comfortable. "This cabin is within a few minutes of the center of Mentone, yet it is very secluded. While three could stay here as the description states, there would be little privacy for the individuals as the bedroom does not have doors. Andy and Lisa are fantastic hosts and are very thoughtful in the amenities they include. We were very happy with our stay here and would recommend this cabin to our friends."

"there was some construction activity on other side of lake that was a bit intrusive of the peacefulness; the one bathroom is attached to master bedroom, so that guest had to walk through master to use the toilet. (minor inconvenience); eating options were at quite a distance, since the grille at the closest marina is closed M&T. I would recommend making this obvious in the listing, but the view was wonderful and I spent the day reading on the porch, which was very relaxing."

Easy check in and great communication with the owners who were extremely helpful with any questions or concerns. Easy commute to town and restaurants. Will be rebooking another trip soon. We knew it was a 30+ min drive from Huntsville and enjoyed the town of Guntersville. The new city harbor was a beautiful space to walk around and have a nice dinner. "Everything about this cabin was perfect! The pictures honestly don’t do it justice! Beautiful scenery- especially from the rockers on the screened in porch! Hostess was excellent to work it, and even let us know about a nearby eagles nest to check out while we were here. Will definitely be back!!"
