Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara

"We returned to Qasr Al Sarab last week, this time bringing friends to share somewhere we had loved on our previous visit. It was every bit as wonderful the second time around. We stayed in the pool villas, which made a beautiful base for a relaxing few days together. The weather was fantastic, and although we had our own pools, we also thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the main pool. The infinity pool is simply stunning, particularly at golden hour, when the light over the dunes makes the setting feel even more extraordinary. The cocktails were excellent quality, and the attentive, friendly service around the pool made it very easy to settle in and enjoy ourselves. A special mention goes to Ritik, whose wonderful service was once again a highlight of our stay. Having team members who leave such a positive impression is a real credit to the resort. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch at Ghadeer and a delicious dinner at Suhail, the rooftop steakhouse. Both added to what was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Our particular thanks go to Arun, our butler, who looked after us for the second time. He once again did a superb job, and it was lovely to be in his care again. His attentiveness helped make the whole stay feel relaxed and special. Qasr Al Sarab has an extraordinary setting, but it is the people and the quality of the experience that make us want to return. Thank you to Arun, Ritik and the team for another memorable visit—and for making it such a wonderful experience to share"

"We had a wonderful stay at Emirates Palace in a beautiful sea-view room with Club Lounge access. The property is truly grand and spectacular, with so much to do without ever needing to leave — from camel rides to a variety of activities throughout the resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, but the Club Lounge team was truly exceptional. Everyone was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay special, including helping us arrange dinner reservations and organizing thoughtful anniversary treats in our room. A special thank you to Rohit, who was phenomenal with our 1.5-year-old son. He went out of his way to prepare special purées for him and would always ask if there was anything he could make for him. That personal attention meant so much to us and was one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast was truly incredible — one of the best hotel breakfasts we have experienced, with an amazing selection. The Kids' Palace was a little underwhelming compared with the rest of the property, and the enormous size of the palace can sometimes take away from the personal feel of the experience. Overall, Emirates Palace is an incredible and unforgettable property. The grandeur, setting, activities, amazing breakfast, and especially the exceptional Club Lounge staff made our stay very special."
