Beautyful private bath.I love it so much when snow falling.

Had had a great stay in this beautiful hotel. One of our group members had left behind his bag in a remote restaurant prior to his arrival and with the great assistance of the hotel staff, we managed eventually to confirm that the bag had been sent to a police station. The staff, who didn’t speak good English , had been very patient in understanding my Japanese of limited proficiency , and had the matter sorted out to our great satisfaction.

The room was tidy apart from some cobwebs in the sealing. The hotel in general had quite a lot of cobwebs and insects here and there on corridors etc. English was mentioned as one of the languages but still it was very difficult to take care of anything in English. Otherwise service was polite. The one thing that really seems wrong to us westerners is the fact that the traditional rooms are said to have 'futons'. These are in fact thin ordinary foldable matresses and uncomfortable to people normally sleeping on beds. We thought of futons as thick matresses filled with hay, so quite sturdy - but no.

初めての夫婦での温泉旅行でした。サイトを見ながら決めましたが、お部屋がお洒落だったので選びました。しかし、お部屋は旧館側なのでしょう狭い部屋でした。お部屋情報は欲しいかと思いました。換気口等の掃除もしっかりしてくださると良いと思います。女性の浴衣のサービスは素敵でした。旦那の分も丈が長目の物を頼んだら、お部屋まで持ってきてくれました。廊下ですれ違うスタッフさんは、ほとんどの方が挨拶をしてくれ、気持ちが良かったです。機会があったらまたお世話になります。ありがとうございました。

温泉から見える滝や、部屋から見える新緑の景色が最高でした。注意書きにある通り、人手不足は否めませんが、仕方ないと割り切れば宿自体はとても良い所でした。またぜひお伺いしたいです。

部屋全体が寛げる様にか、暗い証明で洋服のロッカーの中も見えず持参した懐中電灯で確認したら蜘蛛の巣が張っていて、スタッフの方に掃除して頂きました。若い頃と違い、歳を取ると暗い証明は見え難くて、疲れました。窓からの景色は川が流れてて、とても良い景色でしたが。

スタッフさんはとても親切でした。お部屋の内風呂のお湯がなかなか出ず残念でした。ウェルカムドリンクや、かわいい浴衣のサービスは良かった点です。交通機関が少なく、車での利用でしたら問題なくくつろげる施設です。

宿が川沿いにあり、露天風呂はその音に癒されますが、スタンダードなお部屋は、窓が開かないので、川の音が殆ど聞こえません。露天の足湯があり、川の音に癒されながら、ゆっくり過ごす事が出来ますが、2人かけが2席しかないので、狭く感じますし、長々と座るには気が引けます… タオルは室内の備え付けを利用する感じですが、宿泊中交換がありません(フロントに言えばおそらく可能) タオルをかけておく所が小さく、バスタオルの干せる大きめのタオルかけがあると良いなぁと感じました。スタンダードなプランでは、部屋食ではなく、食堂での食事ですが、客数が多い為か、用意してあった感の食事内容ですが、一品出来立ての品の提供あり、それが嬉しかったです。概ね価格に見合った宿だと思います。

良かった点は目の前を豪快な滝の流れを見ながらの大浴場の温泉は広くてすばらしい。しかも夕刻限定で温泉から上がると生ビールとソフトクリームが無料で提供されていて格別なおいしさ。夕食・朝食も豪華で中居さんも感じが良くてきぱきと給仕してくれた。しかしこれらを考慮してもとても知人には勧る気にはなれない。まずフロントの対応は最悪で接客の何たるかを知らないのではないかと思ってしまう。チェックイン時間の10分前ほどに到着してロビーでまっていたが、フロントのスタッフは全く反応なし。その内別の客も到着してきたので2分前ぐらいに窓口に行き名前を告げたが、スタッフは時計を見てまだチェックイン時間前だと言いたげな様子。結局嫌々ながら手続きを始めてはくれたが、自分は1分たりとも始業前には働かないという態度がありありと感じられた。ビジネスホテルなどでも部屋の準備が済んでいれば時間前に受け付けてくれるところも多い中、ある意味で稀有な経験だった。それ以外にも客室には入ったところに押し入れ、トイレ、シャワー室、エアコン・照明スイッチなどがあるのだがどこも薄暗くてスマホをかざさないと場所が分からない。居間は明るいがスイッチ類が全て居間の外にありスタンドもない為、就寝時は真っ暗な中を布団までたどり着かねばならない。部屋に置いてあるマニュアルには客のプライバシー尊重で中居さんは部屋には原則入らない云々などが書いてあるが、正直に人出不足で勘弁してほしいと書くべきではないだろうか。極めつけが前の宿泊客が飲んで使ったお茶のティーバッグが入れ物の中に残っていたこと。さすがにこんな体験は初めて。人出が足りないからなのだろうが、接客サービスの体をなしていない感じがした。
