"What a wonderful experience. The host went the extra mile every day to ensure we had a great time, especially after he found out that it was my kids’ first time in snow - he made them a private sledding hill! The hot tub in the snow is a fantastic experience, and the home itself is perfect for two families with separate semi-private areas for 4-5 each plus a large common area with a lovely fireplace and board games. We got so lucky with this property. "

"The host was very pleasant and responsive when the hot tub fuse blew and one tv required a reset. All instructions were conveniently posted by the front door and the kitchen drawers and cabinets were labeled, making finding things easy. We were there to play in the snow, and the hills right behind the house were perfect for free sledding with no crowds! The fenced yards were especially convenient for the dog and added to the sense of privacy and security. All in all, a great place to stay for our party of 5."

"My husband and I have been together for 12 years, married for 2. We have 5 kids, 2 son in laws, 4 grandkids and one almost son in law between us (14 people total) and this was the first combined families vacation we’ve taken and this home could not have been more perfect. The two families with kids had room in their rooms for the extra space needed for kids, the remaining 4 rooms were perfectly sized for the two single kids and one other couple and my husband and myself. The master bedroom was AMAZING. We had the only bathtub but it was big enough for the 3 kids (14 mos, 3.5 & 4.5 years old) to take a bath together. There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes away that shares a parking lot with Tube Tahoe snow tubing where we spent two GREAT afternoons. Downtown South Lake Tahoe (and casinos) is no more than 15 minutes away. This home had a big kitchen with pretty much everything you’d need in a kitchen and the living room, dining room and space inbetween had plenty of space for adults to watch tv while others played games and the kids did their own thing. We’ve already discussed coming back for some time in the summer at this home. Hosts responded whenever we emailed (we couldn’t find the highchair at first) and we had no problems getting in. The 3 car garage held 3 SUV’s with room to open doors. Warning - the driveway s VERY slippery if you have more than 3 vehicles. Only downside to this home was that it can be loud if you are in a downstairs bedroom. Bring slippers."

"The view from one of the bedrooms is exquisite. Snow covered redwoods! Debbie was extremely communicative. The hot tub was soothing on our muscle-fatigued ski legs! The kitchen is well appointed with kitchen supplies and everything you need to make meals. A very nice stay!"

"My partner and I stayed with my adult children and their partners and our golden retriever. There were enough comfortable beds and the heater works wonderfully. We were there during a whiteout winterstorm on the 2nd day and there was a shovel to dig out our cars which was so appreciated and in fact needed to even leave the property as we were snowed in with our two vehicles. There are enough blankets, TVs with hook up for video games. This cabin is located in a wonderfully beautiful neighboorhood where you can hike and snowshoe right out of the backyard. It's about 20 minutes from the Heavenly Village and the ski slope. If you carpool you can get free parking at Heavenly. To improve: Wifi was near impossible to connect to, hot tub and wood burning stove are non-operational. There is a Keurig but no pods, so we bought our own and left some behind for the next guest. There is salt but no pepper and oil, so pretty much all spices and condiments for cooking need to be either brought in or purchased! - That being said, the place was perfect for our needs and we had a great time!
