"This property is not what is shows at the time of booking. The gravel road is so eroded that even an SUV is not near capable of reaching the property. The place has not bathroom and no hot water. The place has limited cold water too. No potable water and you will be stuck in the place at night since the owner is not helpful. Also, we found a snake skin in the cabin and when informed the owner about it. The owner started laughing hysterically. This place is creepy and unsafe, and if you want to...

"We love the location - we loved having a restaurant, ice cream spot, and grocery store/gas station across the street, and being 15 minutes from the beautiful schoodic point. The drive to the bar harbor side is about an hour, but it's an easy and pretty drive. The house itself was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay again!"

"I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. "The home was huge and very well thought out! They had basically everything that we needed, very well stocked. There were clear instructions on how to get into the home, and the owners gave us a guide for the house and the surrounding areas, which was very helpful! We fit 12 people perfectly, but there would be space for even more given the extra pull out couches and mattresses in the closets. You can tell that they put a lot of thought into the home. Thank you for letting us stay here!"

"Elsa's Inn was a very clean and pleasant stay and I would definitely return. Gail was very welcoming and pleasant to speak to as she shared information in regard to the surrounding area as well as the places to go see and things to do. The breakfasts served daily are gourmet quality and delicious. The Inn's location puts you about 1hr and 10 minutes from the Bar Harbor / Acadia area but with the scenery on the way to said locations you will not have an issue with the distance, especially in the fall with the beautiful foliage. It does get really quiet at night so you are able to simply relax and unwind. The rooms were super clean and they take you back in time, loved it!"
