"This is the second time I stay at the hotel. The building and rooms are old but clean and well maintained and kept: each unit has a kitchenette but in this occasion the stove was not working so I cannot give a 5 star rating. The hotel service is excellent and friendly. My suggestion is to provide at least 1 bottled water daily to guest although there is a big jug in the lobby. Finally, just want to make a comment that the pizza at the restaurant (Dukes’s) is terrible. Not sure if the altitude...

"Where do I begin? Wow ... Elegance is not the word I would use. Staff is great. Hot shower great. I'm sure the place was a 3 star hotel in the 1970s. It has not been touched since then. Chairs literally falling apart and you have to hammer the arms back in place. Sofas so old no one would take them for free off the street. Towels shredding. Rug dirty. "Due to late running buses and a very early flight we spent less than 6 hours in the hotel! The room was generally ok, we booked a twin and it was a large room with 2 double beds. The bathroom wasn't great, the shower door did not shut properly and water did not drain away very quickly. We had to check out very early and they arranged a takeaway breakfast for us."

"The property is located very close to the Witches Market and central Cathedral. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast was as per many other hotels of this class. If you have heavy luggage there is no lift and staff don’t offer to help carry luggage up to your floor level. In my case 5th floor. The view from the breakfast area is across the city."

"It is a modest hotel. The smallness of the rooms is compensated by the views of the city. It's just a couple of blocks from the National Arts Museum and the main square in the city, Plaza Murillo. "The young lady checking me in (and out) was very polite and helpful. She exceeds anyone's expectations. The location is conveniently located to places I wanted to go.
