Great house
We loved it! The house was beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking...our only mistake was arriving after dark and we could not find the house,it was pitch black 🤦‍♀️ Karen helped thankfully but it would have been easier if we had a direct number to her as the phone service is a bit sketchy (understandably) WiFi in the house was perfect...we had 6 phones in total and the WiFi held great.

Beautiful views amd lovely cosy cottage
We thought the property in a lovely position with great views and overall comfortable. It was warm and cosy so good for a wet week. The owner was a good communicator and easy to contact. The cottage should have been cleaned thoroughly given the pandemic- the microwave wasn’t cleaned and the plate was sticky from previous use. . The en-suite bathroom was damp with black mould all around the toilet pipes and it smelled strongly of damp. Two tiles were hanging off the wall in the kitchen by breakfast bar. The tumble dryer stopped working and the owner was unable to assist so not ideal given weather. The carpet was thread bare in the living room at the entrance from hall. Lots of stained carpets could do with professional clean.

A great house with an amazing view.
We had a fantastic stay in Salen. The house was great - comfortable and well equipped, with a wood burning stove. The scenery was absolutely stunning looking out to Loch Sunart. There are lots of walks nearby to suit beginner level upwards. Everyone we spoke to was extremely friendly. Plenty to see and do, and the local hotel provided great food and drink too. Would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to escape for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Very clear access instructions and excellent communications with the host. Will definitely be back.
