"We stayed at Townhouse at Brecon for a family trip and had a lovely experience. The building has lots of character, and as it’s an older property, there is a narrow flight of stairs to the rooms, something to be mindful of, especially with luggage. What truly made our stay special was the hospitality. Host were absolutely excellent— warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of and were very accommodating throughout our stay. Beautiful boxed breakfast was the highlight. A charming place with wonderful hosts, and a great base for exploring Brecon."

"On our arrival we were greeted by the most cheerful host who introduced herself as Sian. She made us feel most welcome. She showed us to our beautiful family room overlooking the Groe Park and the rugby pitch alongside the River Wye. The room was spotless, with a double and single bed and 2 very comfy armchairs in the alcove looking out at the gorgeous view. Sian went out of her way to show concern and interest in the reasons for our visit to Builth. She was most flexible in times for our breakfast. We were given a jug of fresh milk for our tea/ coffee in the bedroom. The bed was so comfortable and we both experienced a very good night’s sleep. Next morning we had one of the most delicious breakfasts we had ever had. This consisted of homemade yogurt, a dish of scrumptious fresh fruit, fruit juice, and a ‘wow’ cooked breakfast including a locally resourced free range orange yolked egg, 2 generous slices of bacon/gammon, loads of mushrooms, etc. etc. We would most definitely recommend Bonwye B & B and we certainly intend to return. "Fantastic, helpful staff - well tested, when we arrived a day early by mistake , but smoothed over in an instant . If you are in town for books - you could not have a better location, easy to dash back with your bibliophile hauls ."
