"The house was very nice. It had a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and couch, a good TV, nice shower. The backyard area was nice. Checkout rules were clear and easy to follow. Only recommended improvement would be the addition of more storage space in some of the rooms -- add dresser and closet access. But overall, a very nice place."

"We stayed at this wonderful little place for a few days at the beginning of Summer. It was very clean and suited our needs just fine for a party of three (two adults, one child). Keep in mind this is an old Florida type cottage which has stood the test of time; that being said the back porch/patio is more on the rustic side but definitely fits the vibe. The occupied space is on the 2nd floor only, so walking up/down steps is unavoidable. If you have mobility issues, this might not be the place for you. We brought our 20ft boat along, as there is ample space at a nearby dock for mooring the duration of your stay. The Plantation right down the road has a boat ramp you can launch from for a small fee. Trailer storage isn't an issue and can easily be accommodated at the house. There is also a kayak on-site for guests to use if that's more your speed; also a map inside by the kitchen showing the nearby places to paddle if not familiar w/ the area. Overall great proximity to anything you may want to do in Crystal River, w/ a 180 waterfront view to boot. Captain Memphis, the host, is pleasurable to deal with and very responsive to any questions you may have. Insider hint: if you look off the dock hard enough during low tide, you might find a hidden spring Florida Local approved, we'll certainly be back "

"A great place to rent next to everything fun. Many stores, restaurants, shops, and of course outdoor activities. The house was clean, very family-friendly & accommodating to dogs. The host was very friendly, understanding and great with messaging. Questions were answered quickly before the stay. In the house everything is easy to find & feels like home while visiting the local springs."
