"This property was absolutely perfect. As a solo traveler I was able to navigate easily from the water bus station to the hotel even after midnight from the airport to the hotel. Do note that is about an hour and half affordable bus ride(32euro round trip). The hotel location allowed for easy access to everything Rialto was about a 10 minute walk that you could get to multiple ways from the hotel. Which gets you to the grand canal and Santa Maria. Shopping is everywhere in all directions. Every morning having breakfast you're sitting right in a canal where people catch the gondola so your view is great! And across the bridge you're right in Piazza San Marco. The bar at the hotel was my favorite. Mike the bartender was absolutely a gem. The hotel rooms themselves are very traditional style Italian rooms so if you're looking for modern you're not gonna get that here you will get charm, clean and you will get kind friendly service with a traditional Italian flare. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would actually give it more stars if the system allowed me to"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Stella! The staff were super friendly, the lady at breakfast was really chatty and attentive and the lady on the reception desk was super helpful with public transport questions. She also showed us around the garden and explained what the plants were etc which was a lovely touch. Navigating to the hotel was simple on the alilaguna from the airport and the vaporetto’s from Venice and catching buses from the port to the hotel was easy. The room was a great size, plenty of storage space, and the bathroom was lovely. The bed was super comfortable we slept great everynight. The breakfast was lovely, a great selection for a continental, lots of pastries, fruits, yoghurt and breads and eggs. The lady around at breakfast time was really friendly and made great coffees. "
