"We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Winds! The host was wonderful and communicated very well! The house was clean and welcoming with beautiful views of the ocean and the outdoor pool. We were able to enjoy some time on the beach, which is a nice extra for November. The hot tub was awesome. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and arcade area. The kitchen was fully equipped, lacking nothing. The grounds were clean and safe. Staff was very kind. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely return and we recommend this to anyone wanting to visit this area! We fished in the ocean and the fish were bountiful as well…overall, we had a WONDERFUL stay!"

"We had a great time! Loved the space and decorations to give that beach feel. We had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The ocean front porch was great for sunrises and enjoy my morning coffee watching the birds and dolphins find breakfast. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves, the heated pool was a major plus, and the beach storage on the ground level was very convenient. We went fishing on the sound side nightly and were able to catch some small fish and even saw some sting rays! We visited Fort Macon, the aquarium, and the Shackleford wild horse and shelling safari where the kids scored big on finding big shells and conches. The food at Idle Hour Biergarten, Surf's up Bar & Grill, and Rucker Johns all had amazing food. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place, we would definetly stay again!"

"We have now stayed on both sides of this property. We can't say enough good things about the location, neighborhood, and space. We would certainly return. The only thing we'd change is having a Q bed in the primary bedroom. The space may be too small to accommodate, but that would have made a difference. Otherwise, we have absolutely no complaints. Book JFTHE, it's a gem!"

"My husband & I spent our 25th wedding anniversary here and it was wonderful! The condo itself was spotlessly clean, had an excellent view, and had comfortable beds. The resort had excellent beach access and clean, comfortable pool areas. We would definitely go back! Our only complaint is for the Beach Club - the grill area seems to be in a wind tunnel and doesn't have any place to set down food or utensils. It makes using that area difficult, unpleasant, and apparently unsafe. One evening, we found that one of the grills had been removed because it must have caught fire and burned part of the railing around that area. Use caution in that area. They really need to install a windbreak there."

The location couldn’t be better—about halfway between downtown Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach, with the beach literally just steps away, and it’s a gorgeous stretch of sand. The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need; the hosts have clearly thought of all the details. We especially enjoyed the great deck for afternoon cocktails and the well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals.The hosts were wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable about the community, and completely unobtrusive. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. No complaints at all. We would absolutely stay here again!"
