"We were definitely disappointed with our stay. At check in, we were informed that the pool and hot tub were closed for renovation. And while they did offer a full refund if we wanted to book elsewhere-that would have been very stressful to do after a long drive. We may have booked elsewhere had we known prior to checking in. The hotel is more of a motel feel and is right next to the highway so the road noise was fairly loud in the rooms at night. The breakfast was disappointing. Being served food, at the bar, was ok but the service was not very welcoming and the food wasn't very consistent. The food on day 1 was ok, but on days 2 and 3 it was cold or burnt. The pictures on their website of the breakfast was not accurate at all. The bathroom was in bad shape. The floor of the bathtub was stained and torn up, the shower curtain bar almost fell off while I was in the shower, and the shower head was actually hanging off the wall. It was also not well maintained: discolored caulking & stained floors. There wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom so we had to wait a while for the steam to clear out of the bathroom before we could dry our hair. We did let the front desk know about the shower curtain rod and shower head and they did tighten the shower curtain rod. The Lounge is a great idea and it was really nice to be able to grab some food and drinks later in the evening. The bar staff was very friendly and the food was good bar food. "

"Property a bit cluttered on the outside. A homeless man, who appeared incapacitated or not oriented was at back entrance at night, started talking to me. I lied and told him I worked for the US government, and he then went away. Hallways smell like cigaret smoke. Rooms old, but clean. Bed great. Quiet at night. very basic amenities. Breakfast very basic, bread, a toaster, waffle maker, some cereal and fruit and watered-down juice. I was just there to sleep, so it was ok. Quiet at night though, for that I might consider staying again."
