"Check in was quick because i had completed the pre check in. The room was clean and comfortable. Pool was good but the pool room was really hot. The issues started when we realized the shower had no hot water. I told the front desk and was told there wasn't a maintenence person because of the time, it was like 9pm. I traveled with my child and another adult. We tried various things and were only able to shower with cool water. I asked for a refund so I could go to another hotel but was told that since there wasn't a manager working, I could either stay and use another bathroom of an empty room or leave but not get a refund. I asked if there was another room but the hotel was fully booked even though we were told there was an empty room. We stuck it out and stayed. Also, our toilet got clogged in the middle of the night after the other adult used it. The next morning I went to the front desk and told again about the hot water issue. This time they were more proactive and sent to the maintenence person who unclogged the toilet and tried to figure out the hot water issue. They then offered me a different room and offered a 50% off the first night. "

"The hotel was under renovation and it would have been nice to have had some kind of warning or at least a discounted rate. Also, when asked for extra pillows they told me they had none. That seems silly to me. It’s a place where people sleep. Pillows should be available. Other than that, the staff was amazing, the pool and breakfast perfect. "
