"Great place for budget travel."
Very clean, very functional. My only grumble was that the bed was too hard, and the pillow too fat and too hard, but that seems a norm for Japan. Most staff very friendly, a few less so... Oh, and a western choice of breakfast wouldn't hurt. I know fish, rice and salad etc is traditional, but a croissant would have been more palatable at 07.00... I'd certainly stay again, but I'd bring my own pillow! Very good value. ,

"Good location, clean and cozy hotel"
Location literally out of the subway - fantastic. Staff was very helpful with questions and did their best to help despite some language barriers. Amenities were supplied. All in all a good stay at a very reasonable price.

"Nice hotel in good location, small rooms "
The location is great and caters to everyone with mixture of western and Japanese eateries nearby! Close to main subway to get you to main attractions. About hotel, lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. As in other reviews, the room was tiny! We stayed for 9 nights and we were comfortable enough but we were hardly in the room. The bed was very small and really hard and the pillows were terrible! We asked for extra blankets to lie on top of and extra pillows. We loved the complementary pyjamas and other amenities including bottles of water, toothbrushes, hair clips! main complain was trying to get the room temperature right as it was always so very hot!! Had the window open all the time to try help but it was still hot. It's close to a main road and building works occurring so this was not ideal.

"Great hotel on quiet street"
Hotel was conveniently located 3 to 4 minutes walk from 2 different subway stations. A good choice of restaurants close by. Very comfortable bed, clean well designed compact bathroom, lovely room with lots of light and excellent blackout drapes. Everything new clean and well designed. I wish the room had been a bit bigger. Hotel dining room on the ground floor was light and airy serving a buffet breakfast with a delicious variety of Japanese and western food included with the price of our room.

"A Nice Hotel Deep Inside A Fun Part of Tokyo"
It's a rather new 14-story building that towers above adjacent buildings in bustling Akasaka, and located within walking distance of a subway station. The breakfast included with rooms is modest but quite adequate, with a combination American fare (including boiled eggs, sausage, and rolls with butter and jam) and Japanese fare. The rooms and bathrooms are small but complete and modern. The TV in the room featured some English-language movies and CNN, at no extra charge. I didn't use the sauna, but did use the coin laundry. BUT.... This new hotel can be hard to find, even by taxi drivers. Take a map. If you arrive in the area by subway, get off at the Akasaka mitsuke station, which is on the Ginza and Marunouchi lines. Walk out of the station onto a narrow street, turn left and walk up to the first alley and go right. At the next alley, turn left. You then should see the hotel up a hundred yards or so on the right, with the word "Centurian" on top. (If when leaving the station you're about to cross a six-lane boulevard, you're headed the wrong direction. Go back through the station and start over). There also is Narita and Haneda airport limousine bus service that stops at the hotel across the boulevard from Akasaka mitsuke subway station.

Pocket Guide: Chiyoda Akasaka 3 stars Hotels

Posh hotels and a good selection of mid-range restaurants can be found in this area bordering Ginza’s northwest side. Sights in themselves, hotels include the New Otani complex, featuring a garden that was once owned by a Tokugawa regent, and ANA Hotel Tokyo, which has skyline views rivaling those of Tokyo Tower.
