"I had reserved a smaller cabin which was advertised incorrectly on the web site as having 3 beds and a sleeper sofa. we needed 3 beds. I was contacted 4 days prior to our arrival that the cabin reserved only had one bed and a sleeper sofa. I responded that would not work for us! The Representative stated the website posting was their mistake and they would upgrade our group to a 3 bed room cabin which was very nice cabin at no additional charge. "The cabin was really nice, only issue was the stove not having numbers on the dials to indicate level of heat. The area around the cabin could use some cleaning up. "

"We are 4 older fisherman that plan a trip every year. This is our second stay at this house and it meets our needs very well. We cook all our meals at the house and the kitchen and dining area are great. The dock is perfect for leaving our bass boats in the water with the launch right across the street. Outside facilities are outstanding. Pleasant stay."

The cabin is awesome and sits back in a cove with very little boat traffic, great dock, fire pit and the cabin is equipped with everything you need. "This is a cute quiet cabin in secluded area. The screened in porch is the perfect place to enjoy the weather and not the bugs. It is nicely decorated and cozy. It was a perfect spot for my family to hang out and rest between my son’s military ceremonies and before making the long trek back home. Very pleased. If we ever make a trip to Georgia again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here."

"Arrived to a cold house at 50 degrees. Did warm up with turning on furnace after about 45 minutes. No dish towels- they would have been nice. Had to use bath towels in the kitchen. No wifi and poor cell service. We actually like this property and have stayed here previously. Suspect that the details a little lax because off season for a lake house."

"We had a great time at the cabin on Lake Tallapoosa. The cabin was cozy with all the amenities we needed. The house was perfectly setup for dogs. They were able to roam from the fenced yard up the ramp and into the porch area. This was a big deal for us which allowed us to relax while they had more freedom. We saw blue heron, otters, turtles on the river and took a trip to the local dam. The train was unexpected, but it made our days (and nights) interesting. Thanks!"

"The setting of the house is so peaceful. The house is lovely. It was equipped with everything we could have ever needed. It is very clean and comfortable. Just a few miles into Heflin, where there are grocery stores and more. I highly recommend staying there. You will not regret it."

"This is a real gem. The kitchen is HUGE and well appointed so anyone planning a family/friend outing will have plenty of room to cook and lay out a great buffet. The outdoor areas are also a plus. From the screened in porch to the outside seating, we enjoyed the comfortable space. The two-tiered dock is also really great and our fishermen in the group spent a lot of time there. The only downfall of the place is that both bathrooms, although VERY nice and big, are en suites. So if you have people...

"We enjoyed rhe cozy A frame cabin. There was plenty of room for our family. The master suite was beautiful! Our children were able to fish right off the dock and caught multiple fish. We had a great visit."
