"Wykeham Arms is absolutely charming historic coaching inn/pub, enlivened by charming staff and decor. Our room was a fun mix of comfort and quirk. The bed was particularly comfortable (including linens, pillows). Food at Wykeham arms is outstanding, creative and served with joy. Small point-the upstairs stairwell could use a bit of a refresh."

"The venue was nice but felt a little tired. The window in the room we had did not shut properly as it was broken. The table in the room was sticky and dusty. The lift had a very poor paint job. The bar had a limited choice of drinks However the staff were friendly and the food at breakfast was good. Unfortunately there was a lack of small plates on the 1st morning and on the 2nd morning although there was a pile of plates in was actually a mixture of plates and saucers. "Not a great experience- they did not have the restaurant booking I had made just a week previous (they did say they could make room for us, but all seemed a bit disorganised) and breakfast wasn’t up to much (we overheard that the chef hadn’t shown up, however the staff member didn’t tell us this and we had to wait over half an hour and ask twice for coffees that he was doing at the bar). Room was nice just feel no one had much of a clue what was going on."
