"We had a wonderful time at Elk Horn Retreat. We stayed 5 nights and loved every minute of it. The cabin is beautifully decorated, well furnished, and extremely comfortable. The location is very private and an easy drive to town. Highly recommend this cabin for a stay in Idyllwild."

"Perfect for us! The cabin is right on the creek with an easy, beautiful walk to town along the creek. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and coffee and champagne on the deck by the creek! The perfect getaway!"

"My daughters I booked a last-minute trip for Mother’s Day weekend. This cabin was absolutely perfect. It was clean and cozy and very close to the center of town. It was perfectly decorated and definitely felt like a retreat away from home. I would highly recommend it and I look forward to staying here again."

"Lovely area, Mountain View’s and tall trees… cozy comfortable cottage- homey! Great restaurant- Ferros with wonderful jazz! Tuesday nights! Many restaurants closed early March- trips to desert an hour or so away- beautiful drive down the mountain! Peaceful, serene and friendly people! All in all we enjoyed it and will return- Wi-Fi good as I worked a few days. Kathy and Gary"

"The cabin is great for a couple and a pet. The cabin is filled with mountain decor and has both a wood-burning stove and an air conditioning unit to make you comfortable any time of the year. It is close to town and not far Idyllwild Regional Park and a small dog park to allow your dog to get out even more."

"Super cute cabin, nice and rustic (and nostalgic!) We enjoyed the hot tub after our adventures in Idyllwild, and the fully stocked kitchen was very appreciated. This is a great place to stay if you want a little place close to shops and trails. We'll definitely be back!"

"This wonderful cabin has it all…great quiet location and close to the town; it was immaculate and very well organized and spacious; fenced in balcony which was perfect for our small pet; very comfortable beds with really nice linens and plush towels; fantastic deck with lots of seating and a barbecue; fast WiFi and large screen TV. We’ll definitely be coming back!"

"We went up for the weekend for some relaxation. The sound of the creek was "heaven" and only a short walk to town for eats. The deck overlooking the creek was spacious and we will definitely be back."

"Enjoyed the mornings on the porch listening to the close by creek and chickadees singing, hiked every day, used the grill on the side of the house, walked around the neighborhood in admiration. We brought our dog (golden retriever) and he was so happy there as well. Close to town but also not TOO close. Loved this cabin!! Would stay again."

"Loved the location. Needs some love on the carpet. Kitchen is not stocked, barely enough flatware for 5. No sauce pans. The kitchen its self has been remodeled. Outside is wonderful."

"A beautiful little space with everything you need for retreat. Comfy bed, nice bathtub, cooking supplies. Opens up to a lovely meditation garden and walking path. Right on the corner of downtown, walkable to all the cute shops and restaurants."

"Stay was great and accommodating for 5 people. Cabin was rustic but appropriate for staying in the mountains. Perhap worth to mention about the bathroom. You may consider upgrading tor more safety. We had 3 senior people. Getting in the high bathtub surrounded by full cortine was a difficult task for one of them."

"The cabin was just as advertised. It was cozy, clean and appealingly decorated. The cabin sits among pine trees. The backyard was fenced in, great for the dog. Any questions we had were quickly answered. We would stay there again. Idyllwild is a dog-friendly town and we took the dog out to lunch with us. The Idyllwild Brewpub allows dogs on the patio and sells a pup patty. Our dog loved the trip. We enjoyed visiting the Nature Park and hiking the trails of the trails with the dog. You will...

"We had a large group gathering here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The house was perfect and the communication and property management was incredible. We were thankful for such a great place to spend time together!"

"My family (6 adults) stayed at this property for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They checked in to make sure we got in okay and if we had any problems which we did not, but I like the responsiveness. It was very clean, relaxing and we all said that next year if we still have 6 we would like to stay here again."
