"We were looking for an ideal place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We found this gem, the pics are nice, but the experience of driving up to the place was something you have to experience to fully understand how breath taking view Dan and Laura have. When you open the door, you get hit with a great view of the ocean and Mendocino town from afar, we loved our stay and plan to return. Thank you both for letting us enjoy your beautiful place. "The forest suite is a perfect spot to getaway from typical vacation accommodations. It is a very short drive to Mendocino, yet tucked away in the forest. The suite has everything you need and even some of the stuff you didn't think of, but your host did. Jennifer is very responsive and has created a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy."

"My husband and I love staying here (our 2nd time). It's a beautifully decorated, clean and well-stocked property. It's in the best location, right in downtown Mendocino, with easy access to all the shops. The best part is the large, wraparound deck with views of the headlands and ocean. We spent most of our time on the deck. It's also easy to hike around and even go down to a small, but quiet beach. The owner is very accommodating and wants the guests to have fun. "The photos do NOT do it justice. It is an art gallery with fantastic furnishings. Perfect to relax in and with a large desk to work at. Did I mention a fully stocked kitchebn and laundry room. "Converted the dance studio was a very cool and unique stay. My partner and I and our dog had a great time exploring all of the neighboring towns- everything was 6-15minutes away. It was a perfect weekend getaway. Only one watch out- if you like to sleep in pitch black just be mindful that the main bedroom only has a 3/4 high wall and there is a sunlight in the roof so it will be light in the morning. We didn’t mind, but the host did thoughtfully provide eye masks if needed."
