"This is a pleasant summertime property relatively close to city center, with on-site car parking. Large living room on one end of building features TV, Wifi, games / books / toys for kids, and a wood stove. Kitchen was very functional and property clean. I would not recommend this property for winter occupancy, however. None of the bedrooms featured heat sources and the inside of the house on arrival felt colder than the outside. "What’s fantastic person the owner, Cheryl is!! Friendly and helpful!! She’d double booked so she gave us her whole house to use!! The property was very well maintained and even came with a semi tame weka!! (A NZ ground bird) A cereal breakfast, milk, yoghurt and filter coffee we’re left for us!! Even the wifi was strong!! The rooms and bathroom were very comfortable and I would fully recommend this motel. I would love to stay again even though I’d get a much smaller room!!"
