"The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. Oh and it only comes 2-3 times a day and forget about getting back there on the bus. So 1/2 of us came unprepared to rent a car. You must have a car unless you don’t plan on leaving. "The property exceeded our expectations. The villa was clean, well prepped and we did not encounter issues. The scenery was better than in the photos and the guides given to us by the host led us to some delicious meals. We spent a great deal of time sitting outside. "The house was amazing, we had the entire top floor of the house, which had large bedrooms, common area and kitchen. The entire place was very nice and was quiet, which made it easy to relax and end a nice holiday. The pool area is share with other renters in the area, but was not an issue during our stay. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, chilling out in the lovely pool, which has the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside, and using the house as a base for fantastic day trips to towns like Volterra, Sienna or Lucca. Worth noting that the property is located in the hills and out of the way of any amenities but it does have a Conad (supermarket) about 25-30 mins away.
