The exterior might not be sparkling, but the rooms are clean, and the towels are softer than found in other, similar hotels. "Drove down with my dogs for a race at Miller Knox park. Friendly staff. I loved how close food and groceries were. I do not expect fancy at Motel 6 - basic is A-OK. Room was fine. Parking was good and seemed safe. Dog area was extra good and spacious. There was an unfortunate but mild smoke smell left in my non-smoking the room. I'd stay again due to location, cost and convenience."

"Well, Richmond is not the best place in No Cal. Hotel is old and decent upgrades inside the rooms. It was noisy and the room layout is bad. The bed mattresses move easily and not comfy. Best part is that Costco is near by and that was helpful. Will have to think twice if to stay here again."

"We stayed for three nights in this lovely home. The landscaping is unbelievable and the pool, hot tub, outdoor facilities, really amazing. As a sidenote, you need to be aware that you’re truly sharing space with the owners by staying there, which was OK because she was lovely and informative. But if you’re looking for privacy, this may not be the best choice for you. Beautiful quaint house. Enjoy."
