"We arrived mid October in the middle of a huge storm. The effect of the storm caused a massive dump of seaweed right up to the property and those adjacent. It was impossible to walk along the beach . There was great volume of plastic debris that had washed up with the seaweed. There was no attempts to clear it including a plastic sunbed that was smashed up and half burned by the sea weed.. when the storm abated locals came each morning to fish and left their litter, including plastic behind. "We had a lovely 4 night stay in May, with perfect weather for enjoying the fantastic outdoor room with tub overlooking the water. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the three bedrooms are "open concept" without privacy. The converted apartment includes a "loft" bedroom with a low ceiling and tricky stairs. "There was no at the reception desk. The property manager accused me of lying about my kids because there were 2 single beds joined but we were 3 people. My daughter had to sleep in the middle of the 2 beds . The pillows were uncomfortable . There was 1roll of toilet paper. I had to go buy my own. I had no internet service. The kitchen was somewhat clean but you could see their storage room that was messy Nd made kitchen aesthetically unappealing. The night table and desk shelf was dusty ."

"The apartment was very clean and right on the water. It was truly beautiful. When we booked this apartment was not available, but we stayed in another spot in the same property. It was just as nice, though I question if it was a little smaller. The manager of the apartment was very kind and very attentive. Gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The area of beach next to the apartment is beautiful, but the general location (outside of the apartment complex) is somewhat dirty....

"This is a lovely place with nice view down to the coast. Very clean and tidy, with all we needed for just the one night. There is a hob with 2 rings but no oven, so please note if you intend to stay longer and cook. The pool was nice on a very hot day in August. "

"After being shown to the apartment from the main entrance door I recommend you use the side door to leave and enter as it’s much more convenient. Communication very poor. The messages on the messaging service went unanswered, the WhatsApp number didn’t recognise my mobile so just passed me onto an email address. Email also went unanswered. All I wanted was the wifi password which was allegedly on the online ‘guest area’. There was little to no information on there. "

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Alvise’s country cottage! He was incredibly friendly and helpful as a host. The location has a beautiful view and lots of privacy, which was more than worth the price. We were able to get some much needed rest and visit the surrounding sites, such as Cefalù, with ease. "Fulvio was the kindest person and best host anyone could ask for!! The second day of our stay there, I had a minor injury (which was my own fault), it wasn’t serious but I thought it still would be safer to go to the hospital since I will be traveling for a while. We were originally planning on going to the clinic ourselves, but Fulvio said he will take us to the hospital because how the public hospital system was set up, we could be waiting there for the whole day without been seen by a doctor...
