"The room was very nice, friendly staff and the breakfast was wonderful. Location is excellent too. Our only complaint is the smell of the fish garbage from the adjoining restaurant that wafts into the hotel lobby. It’s not the hotel’s responsibility but they need to work out a solution with the restaurant owner or the hotel is likely to lose customers. "

"Perfect place to stay to explore La Rochelle. In the heart of the old town and surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops. A small supermarket is located nearly next door. Walking distance from the train station - less tha. 5 minute flat walk. Friendly staff, clean room with large comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Excellent breakfast available which we had both mornings. "Stayed here for 2 nights and what a fabulous sanctuary, we know the town well from numerous day trip but wanted to stay overnight to see the beautiful lace go to sleep and wake up. The hotel is right in the middle of Saint Martin but so far away from the tourist throng.
