Great house for family holiday

Thanks so much Carine we had a wonderful holiday in your fantastic villa. The covered pool was brilliant, plus hot tub, pool table and outdoor table tennis really enjoyed by all. Villa spacious and very clean. Great location close to local bakers and butchers. We really enjoyed visiting La Rochelle, Chatelaillon-Plage and local restaurants (Le rochebonne and mussel/burger bar on beach-thanks for the recommendations). Really would recommend this villa and hope to be back soon. Thanks again

Quel séjour merveilleux ! La maison est très propre, a énormément de charme et les photos de l’annonce sont conformes à la réalité. Le grand nombre de salles de bains est un vrai plus. Les équipements sont juste géniaux. Nous étions un groupe de 15 et avons profité avec délices de la piscine couverte et chauffée, du jacuzzi, du barbecue, du billard, du babyfoot et de la table de ping-pong. Un week-end parfait, lors duquel la propriétaire était disponible à chaque instant pour un accompagnement nickel. Et la proximité avec La Rochelle est très appréciable. Seul petit bémol, le forfait ménage qui n’était pas inclus dans le prix. Comme il est obligatoire, peut-être serait-il intéressant de le comprendre dans le tarif ? Après, je n’y connais rien, peut-être doit-on le distinguer clairement. Ce n’était pas une remarque destinée à critiquer, comprenons-nous bien. Chacun de nous garde d’excellents souvenirs de ce passage par la Vendée.

Klasse Haus für bis zu 20 Personen. Familiengeeignet. Älter aber mit viel Charm

Wir haben dieses Haus über Silvester mit einer Gruppe von 7 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern gebucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Das Haus ist klasse, mit viel Charme und wurde nach und nach renoviert. So gibt es im Whirlpool-Badebereich eine Luftwärme Pumpe, mit der wir den Raum sehr gut beheizen konnten. Der Pool konnte von uns auf über 30 Grad erwärmt werden. Trotz gerade zu verschwenderischer Wärme im Wellnessbereich hatten wir nur knapp über 220€ an Strom gezahlt. Das hört sich erstmal viel an, passt, aber wenn man überlegt, wie wir geheizt hatten. Im Regelfall teilt man sich die Stromkosten auch durch mehrere Familien. Der Essensraum ist wirklich groß und faßt problemlos alle Gäste. Alles in allem war es ein nettes Ambiente. Wir hatten bereits eine neue Küche und, wie erwähnt, die neue Heizung im Whirlpool-Bereich. Im obersten Stockwerk ist ein "Kinderzimmer" mit Stockbetten. Dort haben unsere Kinder immer ganz lieb ohne Aufsicht :-/ gespielt. Das funktioniert, wenn man sich halbwegs auf seine Kinder verlassen kann (4 bis 7 Jahre), ist aber natürlich nicht ganz ungefährlich. Wichtig für Familien mit Kindern, durch die Anordnung der Zimmer und die Größe des Hauses empfiehlt sich ein Babyphone. Die Gezeiten sind in Angoulins sehr ausgeprägt. Hier am besten im Internet informieren. Die Kinder liebten es im Watt zu laufen. Mann kann eine tolle Wanderung am Meer entlang zum nächsten Dorf mit einem netten langen Sandstrand machen. Der kürzeste Weg zum Strand sind ca. 400m. Geht man durch das Zentrum von Angoulins an den Strand hat man einen Bereich, in dem die Kinder riesige Muscheln sammeln können. Klasse war auch La Rochelle. Schöne Gassen und ein nettes Flair. Auf dem Weg nach Angoulins hatten wir einen Zwischenstopp in Paris, das hat die Anfahrt erträglich gemacht. Sehr unangenehm hatten wir die Preise auf den französischen Autobahnen empfunden. Ab Grenze Straßburg bis Angoulins und zurück waren bei uns 170€ fällig. Das ist echt ein Pfund. Im Ort gibt es einen teuren Carfour der selbst amerikanische Supermärkte in den Schatten stellt. Es gibt auch einen Lidl der bei uns jedoch schlecht sortiert und fast ausverkauft war. Wir fanden das Haus und den Ort klasse. Negativ fanden wir eigentlich nur das allgemeine Preisgefüge in ganz Frankreich. Hierfür kann das Haus aber natürlich nichts. Deshalb auch volle Punktzahl. Tanken, wenn möglich, nicht auf der Autobahn. Ist wie in Deutschland sehr teuer. Herzlichen Dank Carine und Yvan

Excellent séjour à 20 personnes (11 adultes et 9 enfants) dans cette belle villa. Petit village calme et accueillant, comme les sympathiques propriétaires. Villa bien équipée, un très bon rapport qualité/prix. La découverte des plages à proximité, des lieux touristiques (Ile d'Aix, Ile de Ré, La Rochelle, Marennes, ...) a contribué à rendre le séjour très agréable. La ligne de bus pour La Rochelle à côté du portail a été également très apprécié. Un très bon souvenir de ces vacances.

Très bel emplacement proche des plages, de la Rochelle (...) avec beaucoup de charme, de chambres, d'espaces, d'équipements. Piscine très appréciée en version couverte ou découverte, très sécurisant avec des petits enfants. Superbe villa, ne pas hésiter, vacances réussies

A l'arrivée, nous avons eu droit à un très bon accueil personnalisé. Tout le fonctionnement de la maison nous a été clairement expliqué, nous avons eu droit à de très bons conseils sur ce qu'il y a à faire dans la région, même s'il y a déjà de quoi s'occuper dans la maison ! billard, babyfoot, fléchettes, jacuzzi ... La piscine couverte est un vrai plus :-) vraiment pratique en cas de mauvais temps. La villa est très bien située. Vous avez tout à proximité, plages; commerces ... Vraiment, nous recommandons cette villa. Carine est super cool ! disponible au besoin. Merci encore pour tout Carine !!!
