"Property has a great location for watching all the activity in Mārahau from the deck whilst having breakfast! Explored the Abel Tasman tracks, visited Split Apple Rock and Kaiteriteri. Cafe/bar was close by for coffees or happy hour and dinner. Lovely holiday in a kiwi bach - thank you!"

"We had spent almost a week up in Abel Tasman Park at Awaroa so had been busy hiking, swimming and watching the tides. After all the running about, boat trip up and back this was a super relaxing stop for a couple of days. The view out over the river to the sea and distant mountains is fantastic and we woke up to a brilliant red sunrise. We did laundry and fed some of my breakfast croissant crumbs to the chickens. Its was great."

"The master suite upstairs was excellent for my older parents; grand views and their own space. A modern and spacious house. We had family at other houses, and the kitchen and many dining and deck options were great for group dinners. Set up on the heights, it’s a short drive to the main beach, unless you are pretty fit for the footpath route, but that also meant it was often quiet, even when the beaches were crowded. (Except for high traffic times on the main road) The hosts were responsive and...

"One of the best locations in the area - everything you need is a couple of mins walk. Means that you can walk to the water taxi/kayak easily and the end of the walk is just a few extra minutes away. House is well set up for a family stay with good indoor and outdoor space and a range of toys and books for entertainment. Would definitely stay here again."
